Day 5 : Outreach at Hospitals, Street Kids, CP2 and Sabolciu

Dear Family and Friends
Today is what I call a SUPER MINISTRY day.... the LORD opened 4 doors of opportunities for us, and our smaller ministry teams are mainly went into three directions.

Hospital Ministry: I have heard so much from the students about their time in the hospital ministries today. Some scenes, smells, voices and faces are going to be edged into their hearts and minds forever... yet it also can become heartbreaking in their time of ministry there. The team was divided into: 1) the Abandoned Babies ward: carrying them, feeding them, changing them and simply lovin them with our smiles, touches and prayers 2) Critical Care Ward - babies that are handicapped or suffering from major illnesses and 3) Young Children - sick, neglected and orphaned. Many are gyspy children, being abandoned or abused. Please pray for these babies and children, some may never get to be adopted, fostered or live to celebrate their next birthday, or get up from their sick bed, or get married, or live to see their grandchildren. We want them to see Jesus in our ministry, and somehow receive the comfort of His touch through believers like us on short term mission work. We do however pray for healing, for children to be fostered and adopted. That the LORD will provide caring homes for these children.

Park Outreach: The same teams that went out to the hospitals ended up at the Park Outreach, reaching out to gypsies, orphaned teens and those who are living on the street by choice. There were some good conversations with these folks, and overall the LORD really stretched our students beyond their comfort zone and help them to reach out to the unsaved. We also gave out joy bags at the end of our conversations.

Clothing/Shoes Depot: Another group went to sort supplies and resources at PTJM's office. They prayed over each item they picked for each foster or gypsy family who will be recieving the supplies. That they be blessed and loved.

Sabolciu - VBS Ministry & Construction: My team was in Sabolciu today with Stacie's team. It is unbelievable. The LORD gave me a glimpse of how we are breaking fallow ground in that village as hedge hammers, and work tools were applied on the ground we are working on, to build a kindergarten for gypsy children. We need to keep working on it, till the ground is workable and suitable for His use. And the future generations of gypsy children's lives will be changed because of that investment.

VBS Ministry was awesome by the power of the Holy Spirit, and thank you all for praying for our ministry here.

God Bless, christabel
