Day 6: (Cont.) Park Outreach and VBS at Park

Dear Friends and Family
Group D went to the Park this afternoon for the Park Outreach. Two groups of students were sent with translators to meet and talk to Romanians in a Park. It has become all our students favorite part of the day because it challenges them to put away their fear and talk to people about God. In other words, they have to trust God to inspire them to share the gospel.

A group of 3 (Michelle, Alexa and Vinny) in our team met an old man in the park, and he was very bitter against the gypsies even though he married one. Throughout their conversation they were talking to him about God.

Another Group (Jordan, Julia and Bel) was engaging two Medical students Sevi and Urrutia, from the local Med School about putting their faith in Christ. What a divine appointment. Urrutia at first was standoffish, but in the end able to admit that he needed God and love for us to pray for him. That he was surprised to meet us, who are so interested to share about our Lives and Christ with them. Sevi, was more ready to hear the gospel and had to make some choices about choosing Gift of Life instead of Death. He chose Life, and we pray that he continues to do that each day. He teared at the end when we prayed for him.

VBS at the Park: We took 8 children from CP2 to do a more personal time of ministry with them. Then we invited people from the Park to come and join us. It was a fun and stretching time because of the colder weather, but it is worth it to see 4 to 6 kids make their choice to ask Jesus into their hearts.

That's for now and I will post more about our Awesome outreach last night.

God Bless you all. I love the pictures. God is sooo good. I really miss Sara, but I know she is probabally on such a spiritual high, she doesn't want to come home. That's how I felt on my past mission trips. It is so good to see what He's doing. = )

Hi Shirley
I will tell Eddie and our team that you guys are praying for us. He is quite an intern on this trip. Jordan wants to make him his idol, because he is so consistent with reading the bible.

Blessings, Bel

Hi Elizabeth, Henrique & Ian
O mine, your daughter is budding, she is growing into the image of her maker, and in knowledge and wisdom of God's word.

Having a blast with her on the trip.

Hi Fannette
Jaz is really teachable, and she tries to listen to her authority. She has grown in her ability to minister to children.
