Day 6: Tinca Clean Up, Hospital, Park Outreach and CP2 - Club

Dear Family and Friends
Talk about a second round of warfare, and how it could become discouraging in our expectations for the day. We could either pray through it and seek God's face in all that is before us or let little discouragement festered in our hearts.

The team shared about how the church family in Tinca was reaching out to help out in our community and Youth Building clean-up to get ready for Youth Outreach tomorrow. Please intercede for the outreach in that gypsy village tomorrow night. A band will be performing with our drama team, and students will be sharing testimonies as well. Please pray for the evangelistic message and translation.

Hospital Outreach: We all teared towards the end, in our quiet moment in the changing room. The miracle a few of us witnessed in the ward for deformed and sick babies is how Evelina started moving her hands and legs. She is paralysed from waist down, and not able to stretch out her fingers and arms very well, with a crooked spine. We prayed over her, asking in faith that the LORD will heal her, stretch out her arms and legs, and bring healing to every nerve endings that are not working (for lack of a better word). She started smiling, raising her hands and moved her left and right feet a few times. You know that brought smiles to Julia, Michelle and my faces throughout the day. For Levente, a baby who has water in his brain, he started smiling as we pray for him, and love on him. Also, we are praying that a doctor in the States will be interested to perform a surgery on him so that he will be able to walk and run because his head is too heavy to sit up straight even. Please also pray for Marko, a 12 year old boy who has cancer in his liver, and may be passing on soon.

I have to run, but will update you with news on Park Outreach and CP2 club tomorrow. Divine appointments are filling our calendar, and it is so good to see God show himself strong on our behalf.

Blessings, Bel

Christabel-
It is heartwarming to hear of what the Lord is doing through you and this group of young people!
We are praying that you will be able to make good use of your time in Romania and that many will come to know the Lord.

Christabel; We send along our prayers here nightly for ALL that the entire team is doing there. Reading your story of the hospital visit was inspiring to know that God is able and does work miracles all over our world. We pray for your safety, strength, and God's guidance upon you, Pastor Mike, and all of our "missionaries" there. Be safe; God's Speed to each of you! Praise God for all your efforts!
Our Love to everyone!
Steve, Denise, and Mike Hornsby

Could definitely feel the presence of God throughout our trips and trials along the way. We have so many God Appointed Moments that we can't help but look at our maker and praise him.

Thanks, Bel

The LORD is LORD. He is using all the students so much, that they could see the before and during the trip changes in their lives.... All we can say is God did and we participated in the works of changing lives. What a blessing isn't it. Will send your greetings to Trisha. She is doing well, and she beamed when she was doing Children's Worship Dance last night at the Outreach. Love, Bel

Hi Fanette
Your group of kids (adopted of course into your embrace)... have grown up overnight. Blair especially is different when he connected with God through the bible. Jaz asked me for challenges, and she continues to seek to be changed and used by God. Bianca is the Queen of Compassion with the gypsy children, using all her gifts. Karis, she is so fearless.

So love and continue to pray for us. Bel

God is a God of Miracle, despite and inspite of the circumstances and the people we saw touched by his hands through each one of us. It is not just in Romania but also in Florida. Please keep praying, many more abandoned children need to be adopted into Christian Homes and Group Homes. Bel
